In June, the Board of Regents launched a search for the next President of the University of Washington. As I stated then, selecting the University President is the Board’s single most important task. The search is in its early stages, and the Board of Regents and the Presidential Search Advisory Committee (PSAC) are asking for input into the characteristics and qualities of a successful UW President as well as opportunities and challenges before the UW. This input will shape the leadership profile that the PSAC uses to evaluate and rank candidates for the Board’s consideration and selection. The Board and the PSAC strongly encourage organized feedback from representative groups. Can't attend the in-person or virtual sessions? Take a moment to fill out a short survey developed in partnership with our search consultants, SP&A Executive Search, by Oct. 1. If you have additional comments or questions, we welcome your feedback and candidate nominations at uwsearch@uw.edu. |
