Description | Take charge of your well-being in 2024 by dedicating intentional time and energy towards elevating your mental health. When working towards your mental health goals, sometimes the best way to do so is in a group setting. Psychological and Wellness Services is offering an art self-expression group therapy option this spring quarter. In this group, students will have the opportunity to express themselves through poetry, music, pottery, collage, and more. They will also have the chance to connect with other students and destress through discussion and activity. Expressing ourselves through art can increases self-esteem and allow us to connect with ourselves and others through artistic expression. Group leaders are Doctoral Psychology Interns under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. All groups are free and confidential and pre-registration is required.
