Looking to pursue external funding in the coming year? Please consider joining this session, in which Kara Luckey, Proposal Development Consultant, will discuss the fundamentals of effective grant development and writing with a particular focus on proposals to the National Science Foundation (NSF). Participants will gain new insight into: - Critically reviewing funding announcements;
- Strategically conceptualizing project aims to achieve sponsor objectives;
- Crafting compelling proposal narratives; and
- Brief overview of pursuing funding from the NSF.
Kara will also be available to provide one-on-one consultations to discuss specific proposal efforts and/or general strategies for supporting your research program through internal and external funding.
