Join us for a series of workshops covering the equipment in the library makerspace. In most cases, the workshop will be peer taught by your fellow students and Library Makerspace employees.

These workshops and much of the equipment in the Library Makerspace were funded by Student Technology Fees. Due to Student Tech Fee funding, use of the Laser Cutter, 3D printer, Poster Printer, and the Sewing Machine is limited to current UW Tacoma students for their personal and academic projects only. The Library Makerspace also has equipment that was funded by the Library such as the knitting supplies and a vinyl cutter. More details on which items are available and who may use them (along with some beginner projects) are posted on the Makerspace Web Site (tacomamakes.ds.lib.uw.edu).
