What Is It:
The Fulbright U.S. Student Program awards funding for one academic year of self-designed study, academic research, creative projects, or teaching English in one of over 140 countries around the world.

Here’s a list of UW Tacoma alumni who were Fulbright grantees:
• 2015-16: Lizeth Garcia was a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) Brazil.

• 2017-18: Sophie Nop is currently in Cambodia conducting participatory digital literacy research.

Curious what other students in your field have done on a Fulbright? Take a look at the Fulbright Grantee Directory (select the appropriate field from the list).

Eligible students are U.S. Citizens who will have a bachelor’s degree before the start of the grant (Fall 2020). Graduates and graduate students are also eligible to apply.

UW Tacoma’s campus deadline is September 4, 2019.
