Corey Dolgon, Professor of Sociology and Director of Office of Community-Based Learning at Stonehill College, will discuss pedagogical strategies and activities to cultivate civic hope. This talk is based on Cambridge Handbook of Service Learning and Community Engagement which Dr. Dolgon co-edited. A prolific author, Dr. Dolgon published widely. His forthcoming book is Kill It to Save It: An Autopsy of Capitalism’s Triumph over Democracy.
