Mindfulness practice cultivates awareness in daily life and helps us to meet experience with more balance and ease. No materials needed, simply join in the call, listen, and follow along to your meditation facilitator. Maggie is a retired UW Medicine physician who practiced at Harborview Medical Center for nearly 25 years. Maggie has a longstanding meditation practice and is currently enrolled in a teacher certification program under the guidance of Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach. Glenn has been practicing mindfulness meditation in various traditions since 2011. He completed Mindfulness Teacher Training under the guidance of Mark Coleman and Martin Aylward in 2017 and also completed the Kornfield/Brach training in 2019. He is currently the guiding instructor for Mindworks Meditation Community that meets weekly on Wednesdays at Yogasmith in Georgetown.
