WhenWednesday, Mar. 25, 2020, 12 – 1 p.m.
Description

Description
We live in a time of endless messaging about what athletes should eat to perform better. Conflicting messages abound about different foods, diets, supplements and what’s right for your particular sport or activity. What types, how much, when, why? If you’ve asked yourself these questions, it’s time to get started with your nutrition training plan! Just like you work on basic skills for any sport, it’s critical to have basic foundational nutrition skills in place to support your sports performance goals. This talk presented by Dr. Elizabeth Kirk of UW Public Health will lay the groundwork for basic nutrition skills for athletes.

Join The Whole U and Dr. Kirk on Wednesday, March 25 from noon to 1:00 p.m. in the Husky Union Building room 145.

Elizabeth Kirk, UW School of Public Health
