The UW Nutritional Sciences Program and CHanGE (Center for Health and the Global Environment) are cohosting a seminar series on Food Systems in the Age of Climate Change. The weekly seminars examine emerging issues in food systems and nutrition as they relate to personal, public, and planetary health. All faculty, staff, and students are welcome to attend.

Each session will take place in Guggenheim Hall, room 220, on Tuesdays from 12:30 p.m. to 1:20 p.m. Learn more about the overall series and each session by clicking here.

On Tuesday, March 3, the focus is Food on Campus: Sustainability Plans and Initiatives presented by Claudia Frere-Anderson, Director of UW Sustainability. For National Nutrition Month, The Whole U encourages you to attend to learn more about food systems at UW and how our eating habits craft a campus climate around food.

Claudia Frere-Anderson, UW Sustainability
Claudia Frère-Anderson is the Director of the UW's Environmental Stewardship & Sustainability office and oversees communications, reporting, and programs in addition to supervising staff and many students and interns. Frère-Anderson started her career in the financial services industry prior to working in the nonprofit/social entrepreneurship sector in the San Francisco Bay Area.
