Mindful Self-Compassion, 8 week course

Well-researched and developed by Drs. Chris Germer and Kristin Neff, Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) helps participants explore the habits of being kinder to ourselves and others, living with more ease and well-being in our daily life. Mindful self-compassion is a first step in emotional healing. By learning to be-friend oneself, and by acknowledging difficult thoughts and feelings with a spirit of openness, curiosity and love - rather than self-judgment or self-criticism - cultivating self-compassion allows one to honor and accept our humanness. The cost is $360.00. Scholarships and an income-based reduced fee option are available.

Thursday Mornings , September 7 - October 26, 2017, 10:00 am – 12:30 pm, with a retreat on Saturday, October 14, 2017 9:00 am – 1:00 pm, led by Elizabeth Lin, MD., MPH and Joel Grow, Ph.D. Visit the CCFW website for details and to register.
