Chinese Travel Language Class Series Level 1

Description

Do you dream of traveling to China? The Whole U has partnered with the Confucius Institute of the State of Washington (CIWA) to offer a Tourism Chinese Course for UW faculty and staff. This eight class course is designed for non-Chinese speakers who need help communicating while traveling in China. By the end of the course, you will be able to master the basic vocabularies for traveling in China, develop Mandarin (Putonghua) listening and speaking skills in order to understand common topics related to travelling in China, and gain familiarity with Chinese culture. The 8-session class will meet Fridays at the HUB from noon to 1:00 p.m.

Classes are the following dates:

5/12 Rm 238, 5/19 Rm 307, 5/26 Rm 238, 6/9 Rm 238, 6/16 Rm 307, 6/23 Rm 307, 6/30 Rm 307, and 7/7 Rm 337.
