Cüneyt Özdemir is a Turkish journalist, television host and producer, who has been the anchorman of the leading local and foreign affairs program 5N1K, broadcast on CNN Turk for 16 years. Özdemir conducted many interviews with leading individuals, such as Noam Chomsky, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Zaha Hadid and Orhan Pamuk and published many books including essays and poetry. His most recent publication Günebakan: Yaz Güneşinde Kurutulmuş Kelimeler [Sunflower: Words Dried Under the Summer Sun] is a collection of essays.
