Bruce Holsinger is Linden Kent Memorial Professor of English at the University of Virginia and Editor of New Literary History. He specializes in the literature and culture of the medieval world, with additional interests in historical fiction, modern and contemporary theory, the history of the book, and premodern religious cultures.

This lecture is part of the conference Earthly Impressions: Book, Text, and Archive in the Anthropocene.
