Does your scholarship include a focus on disability? Would you like to be part of a growing community of scholars who approach their work through a disability studies perspective? The University of Washington Disability Studies Program would like to invite faculty, graduate students, and staff from across the university to join us in a Meet & Greet in order to introduce the Disability Studies Program and learn from you about the role disability studies plays in your work. Everyone is welcome, whether you currently integrate a disability studies perspective in your research, teaching, and advising or would simply like to learn more. It is our goal this year to develop and strengthen an interdisciplinary community of scholars who collaborate, educate, and promote a deeper understanding of disability in the academy and the community.

Refreshments will be served at the reception.
