Description

The federal government employs a large number of historians and yet the process of securing history and humanities positions with federal agencies remains a challenging task. This workshop aims to demystify the process of securing such positions. It will introduce students to the USAJOBS platform and provide tips on resume creation, the submission of supplementary materials, and answering job-specific questionnaires. In addition, it will provide a walk-through of the selection and interview process following the submission of an application.
