Description

Oliver Rosales is Associate Professor of History at Bakersfield College, where he also serves as Faculty Coordinator for the Social Justice Institute. His research expertise is in comparative civil rights history, and his work is a model of publicly-engaged scholarship and teaching. ​He completed his PhD in History at UC Santa Barbara in 2012.

In his remarks, Rosales will address connections between humanities PhD programs and two-year colleges. An open discussion will follow.
