"Safe Places: A Practitioner's Lens."  A talk by Tarna Klitzner and Nikola Irving, 6pm Feb. 21 in Gould Hall 322. 

South African architects and designers Tarna Klitzner and Nikola Irving work with the NGO Violence Prevention Through Urban Upgrading (VPUU) in the townships around Cape Town, South Africa.  Their collaborative approach to research and design brings together community activism, ethnography, and architecture.
