The Stroum Center is excited to announce a new series of public presentations by our Graduate Fellows. Once per quarter, we'll offer a lunchtime seminar featuring 2 fellows and a faculty respondent. The topic ofWinter Quarter seminar is "Refugees and Minorities in Israel." Speakers:

Oded Oron is a PhD candidate in the Henry M. Jackson School's International Studies doctoral program. He will speak about “Migrants’ Mobilization for Rights and Recognition in Israel and the United States.”

Esra Bakkalbasioglu is a PhD candidate in Near and Middle Eastern Studies in the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies. Her research project is “How does the Bedouin Minority Perceive the State of Israel?”
