Description

Agata Zubel, a Polish composer and singer, has been hailed by The New York Times as an important new voice in contemporary music, whose works are captivating and remarkable worlds of sound for the 21st century. Ms. Zubel’s talk will be dedicated to her own compositions with a focus on their vocal aspects.

Agata Zubel was born and studied in Wrocław, Poland, where she obtained a doctorate in 2004 and currently is on the faculty of the Academy of Music in Wrocław.
