Description | Lecture Location: Alder Hall Auditorium, 2:00-3:20pm. Ms. Esther Chitsinde is an environmental scientist and digital transformation enthusiast supporting the development of mission critical transportation infrastructure projects across the North America. Prior to joining HDR, Esther was the NEPA & Special Projects Manager at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW Airport) responsible for leading National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) reviews for DFW’s multi-billion-dollar capital improvement program and securing more than $400M in FAA grant funding. She played a key role in developing DFW’s sustainability program and Net Zero by 2030 Roadmap. She has served on the National Advisory Board for the Athena Mobility Digital Twin, and was as the Project Manager for the Morpheus Project, the first airport Building Energy Optimization Digital Twin in partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). Esther graduated from TCU and will be speaking about using digital twins to empower decision making, reduce costs, accelerate innovation, support sustainable development, and help us meet our climate Net Zero goals. |
