Julia L F Goldstein holds a PhD in materials science from UC Berkeley, an MS in materials science from Stanford University, and a BS in engineering from Harvey Mudd College. She started her career as a process development engineer in the electronics industry before migrating to journalism in 2001. As the owner of JLFG Communications, founded in 2011, Dr. Goldstein writes white papers, articles, and other technical marketing content for companies manufacturing a wide variety of products. She is the author of Material Value: More Sustainable, Less Wasteful Manufacturing of Everything from Cell Phones to Cleaning Products.
