Cascadia Climate Action is bringing Climate Science on Tap to Columbia City's Royal Room for the first time with a fascinating presentation and moderated discussion on how science and concerned citizens can drive climate action in law and policy.  Attorney Andrea Rodgers with Our Children's Trust will share her work on behalf of youth plaintiffs in the landmark case of Juliana v. U.S currently pending.

Also, invited is Pete Erickson, a scientist with the Stockholm Environment Institute, who has provided foundational scientific evidence in support of the plaintiffs and who will share his experience in communicating climate science and the impact of global warming to decision-makers.  Moderator will be P. Sean McDonald, Ph.D, a lecturer with Program on the Environment and a researcher with the School of Aquatic and Fishery Science at the University of Washington.
