Description

After the US pulled out of the Paris Climate Accord, several states, cities, and corporations committed to honoring the agreement. Non-governmental organizations continue to advocate for even bolder actions --  some through courts, others through markets and technology. To what extent can these actors step forward when the federal government steps back? The panel will discuss environmental law, its limits, and the power states and other entities have to influence the national response to climate change.
