Description

An international & interdisciplinary conference exploring the ethical and political issues concerning geoengineering - the deliberate large-scale manipulation of the planetary environment to counteract anthropogenic climate change. The conference will be taking place in Room 145 in the Husky Union Building from the 2nd-3rd of November.

The conference will also be accompanied by a Climate Science on Tap event with an interdisciplinary panel discussing geoengineering and proposed field tests thereof. The event is open to the general public and will be held at Naked City Brewery in Greenwood at 7pm on the 2nd of November. Reserve your tickets for that event here.
