Climate on Tap at Naked City! Enjoy a beer and tasty food, while learning the science of rising global sea levels along with adaptation responses needed. We will hear from oceanographer LuAnne Thompson, Director of UW's Program on Climate Change; Seattle Public Utilities Climate Adaptation Specialist James Rufo-Hill and Colin Wahl, Environmental Scientist for the Tulalip Tribes. Enjoy stimulating discussion around the tables. Support science and climate action. Learn what is being done and what you can do! These are always fun events at Naked City's Screening Room! Come early for a good seat!

LuAnne Thompson, Director, Program on Climate Change, University of Washington will speak on the science of global warming and sea level rise.

James Rufo-Hill, Climate Adaptation Specialist, Seattle Public Utilities will speak about how the City of Seattle is engaged in addressing sea level rise and related issues.

Colin Wahl, Environmental Scientist, Tulalip Tribes, will speak to his knowledge of how sea level rise is expected to impact the Tulalip Tribes’ natural and cultural resources and the exercise of treaty rights.
