The narratives portray women as inherently deceptive and manipulative, driven by promiscuity and a desire for power, while men were categorized into alpha, beta, and incel types. The repercussions of these beliefs manifested in actions ranging from self-improvement efforts to the endorsement of suicide and violence. This discussion critically examines these beliefs in the context of sexual aggression theories, the psychology of radicalization, and the American Psychological Association's Guidelines for Psychological Practice with Boys and Men. As we explore these issues, it becomes increasingly evident that the manosphere poses a cultural challenge and a potential societal threat, requiring careful consideration and intervention.
