Join the University of Washington's Department of Human Centered Design & Engineering for our 2023 Capstone Showcase. Held annually in June, this event features the final projects developed by teams of HCDE undergraduate and master's students, representing the culmination of skills and knowledge gained in the HCDE program. 

Student teams dedicate quarters to solve real-world problems through a human-centered lens. Projects are proposed by industry sponsors or driven by an interest from the students on the team. At the Capstone Showcase a judging panel of HCDE alumni and friends awards teams with cash prizes based on the categories of innovation, research, communication, and design.
