Jacob Lawrence Gallery hours are Tuesday–Friday, 10am–5pm, and Saturday, 1–5pm.


In this exhibition, Chicago-based artist Danny Giles presents new work developed during the Jacob Lawrence Legacy Residency. Giles makes work that often brings together live performance, video, and sculpture to address the dilemmas of representing and performing identity as well as to interrogate histories of oppression and creative resistance.
