Jacob Lawrence Gallery hours are Tue–Fri, 10am–5pm, and Sat, 1–5pm.

A presentation of results from the 2016 Summer Institute in the Arts and Humanities, which is titled "Excitations: Energy Studies in the Arts and Humanities." It is being jointly taught by:

Rebecca Cummins, Professor, Photomedia, School of Art + Art History + Design

Tyler Fox, Studio Director and Lecturer, Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences, UW Bothell

Phillip Thurtle, Associate Professor, Comparative History of Ideas

Joel Ong, PhD Candidate, Digital Arts & Experimental Media

The institute is sponsored by Undergraduate Academic Affairs, the Simpson Center for the Humanities, the Office of Research, UW Educational Outreach, the Undergraduate Research Program, and the Mary Gates Endowment for Students.
