Students in this quarter’s Interdisciplinary Visual Arts (IVA) capstone class led by Senior Lecturer Timea Tihanyi are presenting their work in this show. The IVA degree allows students to form their own path within the art world, incorporating a broad range of media, and collaboration with other academic departments. From printmaking to animation to sculpture, this show will highlight the diverse accomplishments of these students.

The title, A/PART, was collectively chosen by the students to epitomize not only the broad range of ideas and media in this exhibition but also the diversity of paths they will commence following graduation. Though conceptually, geographically, and aesthetically disparate, these students are brought together through their interdisciplinary artistic training to showcase the multiple levels on which art can contribute and communicate to society.
