Description | The Udall Scholarship is for full-time sophomores and juniors in any major with a strong demonstrated commitment to environmental issues OR who are Native American/Alaska Native and committed to Native American healthcare OR tribal public policy. --Tribal Policy: For Native Americans and Alaska Natives working on an array of policy issues in Indian country --Native Health Care: For Native Americans and Alaska Natives pursuing health-related careers --Environment: For undergraduates interested in conservation and environmental issues The Foundation will award approximately 60 scholarships plus 50 honorable mentions. US citizenship or permanent residency required. Each year, the Udall Foundation anticipates awarding 55 scholarships of up to $7,000. Udall applicants must be nominated by the UW. |
