Join us for our 2nd ever Build-a-Thon where we give you one week to create a specific item under a few rules using the equipment provided in the Collaboratory, and win prizes based on how you stack up against others (teams welcome)! This is a great way to check out the Collaboratory and discover what you can make with 3D printers, laser engravers, CNC mills, and more!

The kickoff will be on Monday September 30th at 11:00am, where we explain the rules and theme of the build-a-thon. This is also can be a great way to form a team! The final judging time will be on Friday October 4th at 4pm, and a few of us Collaboratory staff will decide a winner.

If you don't know what resources are available or aren't familiar with the fabrication tools we offer, we will be offering several intro workshops throughout welcome week where you can learn about each of the machines you have access to in the Collaboratory.
