Gain global experience through the Global Scholars Program! Apply by December 1 to join the 2023 cohort.


Global Scholars is a year-long program for UW Bothell students from diverse backgrounds and experiences to explore questions of diversity, difference, and identity as central to global engagement. The program begins during Winter Quarter with a series of workshops providing support with scholarship and program applications. Class activities during Spring and Autumn Quarters are paired with an immersive global experience during the summer (study abroad, local/global internship, virtual programs). The two required courses, BIS 318 and BIS 418, fulfill DIV, SSc, and upper division credit requirements.
Students in the program can leverage their involvement with and status as Global Scholars to become more competitive in getting into a major or pursuing leadership and employment opportunities. Learn more on our website and apply.
