Upsetting Bars: Mass Incarceration of Marginalized Communities
Upsetting Bars: Mass Incarceration of Marginalized Communities
WhenThursday, Feb. 13, 2020, 6 – 9 p.m.

SEA Campus Events Board (CEB) and the Social Justice Organizers (SJOs) are hosting Raymond Santana of the Central Park Five (“When They See Us,” Netflix) to share his experience of wrongful conviction and his transition back into society after years of incarceration. This will be a moderated conversation with Raymond followed by additional opportunities to reflect and engage in dialogue around the impact of mass incarceration on marginalized communities.

Together, we will learn, be moved, and deepen our collective understanding of mass incarceration. Light refreshments will be available during the program.
