WhenThursday, Oct. 17, 2019, 12:15 – 1:15 p.m.
Description

IAS Advisors and alum Daniel Lee (Community Psychology, ’17) will host an info session and lunch for students interested in an IAS major, with special attention to the Community Psychology major. We’ll talk about ways to practice an IAS major and stay competitive for positions in the tech industry.

Daniel Lee is a Senior User Experience Researcher at Expedia Group where he supports multiple lines of business, including Flights, Cruise, and Brand Cohesiveness. He is also a second-year student in the Human-Centered Design and Engineering master’s program at UW Seattle.  Daniel began his career in computer systems while in the U.S. Air Force, and at one time, managed over 500 network servers across his base.  After serving, he spent nine years managing a usability lab at Microsoft, which cemented his passion for user research and design.

This session has limited capacity. Priority will be given to Pre-Major students with a declared interest in the CP major.
