University of Washington (Seattle Campus)

Description

A unique public discussion with UW faculty and five UW international partners from Mexico, Ghana, India and Tanzania. Many of us are grappling with how to do good work and lead meaningful lives in an unjust and unequal world. You’ll want to hear how our international partners and UW faculty panelists navigate issues of reciprocity, structural inequality and connecting across difference.

We will host a panel discussion, lead small group activities so you can talk with a range of participants, and mingle during a reception. We also will celebrate the campus launch of UW faculty Anu Taranath’s book Beyond Guilt Trips: Mindful Travel in an Unequal World with a book signing.

Do come, and bring a friend!
