Youth Programs Development and Support Information Sessions: Training & Conduct Requirements and Privacy Practices

In September 2019, the university published new requirements (APS 10.13) for events, activities, programs, and research directed at youth (persons under age 18). These minimum requirements are intended to protect the well-being of youth as they participate in University programs. The following information sessions are being offered at UW Bothell in order to provide guidance on the new policy: 

APS 10.13 Overview
Mon, Nov 4th, 1-2pm in DH 464
This information session will provide a general overview of all requirements of this new policy.

The following deep dive sessions will introduce specific components of the policy, including guidance on how to meet requirements: 

Sessions 1 & 2
Wed, Nov 20th, 2 - 4pm, in UW1 - 361
2-3pm Training and Conduct Requirements
3-4pm Privacy Practices

Sessions 3 & 4
Tues, Jan 14th, 10am - 12pm in DH 464
10-11am Maintaining Safe Environments
11-12pm Emergency and Safety Preparedness and Response
