WhenFriday, Jan. 18, 2019, 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.
Description

Join our 8-week series where we will learn how to build a binary calculator circuit out of old school relays.
Don’t know what that is? Don’t worry, that’s what we are teaching :)

This series will cover all of what you need to know from binary numbers to how to design and soldering of a circuit.

All workshops are held between 3:30-5:30PM at the UWB Makerspace (DISC-152) every Friday.

Weekly Schedule
01/18          Binary Numbers, Logic Gates, Truth Tables
01/25          Digital Adder Theory
02/01          Logic Circuit Mapping
02/08          Electricity Basics, Intro to Relays
02/15          Drawing out 5 bit Adder with Relays
02/22          Soldering Class, Start Build
03/01          Build Day: part 1
03/08          Build Day: part 2

Full attendance is highly recommended since every class relies on knowing the information learned in previous classes.
A general rule of thumb is that if you have to miss more than 2 workshops, consider not registering.
