Election Systems Security: Are we ready for midterms?
WhenThursday, Oct. 11, 2018, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

As the foundation of our democracy, we must have faith that the outcomes of our elections reflect the “true will of the people”.  Our electorate must feel confident that our voting infrastructure is reliable and secure from cyberattack or cyber threat. If you distrust what you are hearing in the media about our national, state, and local elections security readiness level, attend this session.  You will hear first-hand from local, state and national election and cybersecurity experts on what steps have been taken to address cyber vulnerabilities since recent past elections.  They will also forecast what future work needs to occur to ensure our elections process sets the bar for other nation state elections around the world.
