Mini Research Fair #3: Topics in Biology

Each Mini Research Fair will feature 5-10 posters and will provide a forum for students to connect with faculty and learn more about getting involved in research. This mini fair will focus on topics in Biology and will include the following posters:

"Epigenetics and the Environment: Understanding How Cells Respond to Abiotic Stress" - Thelma Madzima
"Microbial Ecology and Evolution" - Jesse Zaneveld
"Changes in Embryonic Development through Evolution:
Gene Expression in Cnidarian Embryos" - Marc Servetnick
"Computational Molecular Design for Applications in Disease Treatment, Renewable Energy, and Countering Bioterrorism" - Peter Anderson
"Optimized Provenance Reconstruction Using Genetic Algorithm" - Hazel Asuncion
"Intelligent 3D EM Data Analysis for Next Generation Biomedicine" - Dong Si
"Understanding Role of Stress in Physiological Regulation and Dysregulation; An Integrated Behavioral Neuroendocrine, and Pharmacological View" - Salwa Al-Noori
