The 'What is Capitalism' Contest

Twenty-five words or less: what is capitalism? Think you’ve got it down, huh?  Think you can step up to the mike and just rattle it off and walk away with one of the three top prizes painstakingly designed for you by radical artists in Helsinki and personally brought back from Finland through ever-escalating levels of homeland security by Hami Bahadori. Well, don’t be so sure. Our panel of expert judges are even more discriminating than the mavens of Project Runway and American Idol so glomming together profit and surplus value won’t increase your Finnish Art collection. Join us for a night of music, comedy, and value-form theory.

Judges: Chris O’Kane, Andrew Ryder, Jasper Bernes, IAS Faculty Charu Charusheela
