Join us for the final AI Task Force Town Hall: AI for Infrastructure

Topics to be discussed are under discussion and may include: 

• Building Scalable AI Infrastructure: What are the priorities for developing a scalable AI infrastructure that supports research, teaching, and operations across all UW campuses? 
• Partnerships for AI Infrastructure Development: How can UW leverage partnerships with industry leaders to enhance its AI infrastructure? 
• Ensuring Accessibility and Security in AI Infrastructure: How can we ensure that AI infrastructure at UW is accessible to all users and secure from potential cyber threats? 

Earlier this year, President Cauce and Provost Serio launched an AI Task Force to imagine a bold vision for the UW that leverages our leadership in artificial intelligence research to advance all aspects of our mission. The task force has articulated a framework for this vision, and decisions on our path forward depend on your input. 

As we shape the University’s vision and strategy for artificial intelligence, it is imperative that each of us — faculty, staff and students — has the opportunity to contribute our thoughts, ideas and concerns about this powerful technology to ensure that the plans we develop match our opportunities and aspirations. We are seeking as many perspectives as possible as we explore AI’s potential and limitations for our teaching, research, work and students’ success.
