The Israeli Chamber Project — a dynamic ensemble of strings, winds, harp and piano — celebrates the 150th anniversary of Arnold Schoenberg’s birth with a semi-staged production of his groundbreaking expressionist cabaret, Pierrot Lunaire, featuring soprano Hila Baggio as the sad clown. Stravinsky’s brilliant Petrushka and Ravel’s La Valse complete this exploration of early 20th-century works with music specially arranged for an ensemble that brings together some of today’s most distinguished musicians in concert.
