Class fees include all necessary supplies, and maintenance and care tips will be discussed by the instructor. Learn how to create an indoor garden in miniature. Terrariums are a micro gardening technique that allows you to view nature up close and display it as a work of art. Instructor Tassy de Give, author of Rooted in Design, will guide you on building a terrarium and how to maintain it. The history of terrarium creation, planting techniques, and care tips will be discussed. $53 class supply fee includes the following materials: - Glass Terrarium Vessel - Activated Charcoal - Potting Soil - Miniature Plants - Decorative Moss Taught by Tassy de Give, a plant enthusiast and instructor who has worked in the horticulture field for the past 20 years. Tassy is a co-founder of Sprout Home and Geometry Gardens in Brooklyn, NY. She co-authored her first book in 2015 entitled Rooted in Design. Tassy has been a featured guest/writer for The Martha Stewart Living Radio Show, Elle Magazine, and DesignSponge. She is also the Plant Director for Glasswing Greenhouse in Seattle, WA.
