Feminist Scholarship & Activism: The Feminist Scholarship & Activism Series started in 2005, and after a short break, the Women’s Center is reigniting this space to provide a platform for graduate students and postdoctoral scholars to present their latest research using a feminist lens. Speakers will demonstrate how diverse feminist scholarship and activism both is and can be for those who are interested in pursuing this practice within academia and within community service. Each event will highlight the work of two scholars/activists, followed by a brief Q&A session. The theme of our April forum is Disability, Social Difference and Marginalization. Light refreshments will be provided. All students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to attend.
