| | Description | This program connects students, faculty, staff, community, and Black trans leadership together across the University of Washington in conversation around black transgender women's history of incarceration. This program gives folks from underrepresented gender identities the opportunity to learn the stories of leaders in their communities who have been targeted by unjust carceral institutions. - Exploring the justice system and the carceral logics that govern them
- Understanding black trans women and the different histories in relation to the justice system: gender, sexuality, poverty, black, experiences etc.
