Learn how to create an indoor garden in miniature. Terrariums are a micro gardening technique that allows you to view nature up close and display it as a work of art. Instructor Tassy de Give, author of Rooted in Design, will guide you on building a terrarium and how to maintain it (supplies included in class fee). The history of terrarium creation, planting techniques, and care tips will be discussed.

Tassy de Give is a plant enthusiast and instructor who has worked in the horticulture field for the past 15 years. In 2007 she co-founded Sprout Home, a home and garden shop and design studio in Brooklyn, NY. She co-authored her first book in 2015 entitled Rooted in Design. Tassy has been a featured guest/writer for ABC's The Chew, Martha Stewart Living Radio Show, and Elle Magazine. She is currently the Plant Director for Glasswing Greenhouse in Seattle, WA.
