Speaker: Dan Reeves Title: The Passenger Hypothesis, HIV Persistence During Suppressive ART in Adults and Children Dan Reeves is a Staff Scientist at Fred Hutch and an Affiliate Assistant Professor in the Department of Global Health at the University of Washington. He has a PhD in physics and uses mathematical modeling to study HIV and other viruses. He will present data from a range of interdisciplinary collaborations that has given us new insight into how HIV exploits human immune cells to persist during suppressive antiretroviral therapy, how to best measure relevant HIV reservoirs, and how different therapies might help to reduce reservoirs and allow ART-free remission. |
