Join us for a brown bag lecture by Dr. Temario C. Rivera who will discuss the May 13, 2019 Philippine mid--term election and its implication for Philippine politics, the economy, and foreign  relations.
Temario C. Rivera  is professor (emeritus) and former chair of the Department of Political Science, University of the Philippines-Diliman, Quezon City. Dr. Rivera was educated  at the University of the Philippines (A.B., M.A.) and the University of Wisconsin-Madison (Ph.D). He is the author of the prize-winning book, Landlords and Capitalists: Class, Family and State in Philppines Manufacturing (University of the Philippines Press).
