Whole U Self-Defense Fitness Class Series

Description

The Whole U is partnering with Patricia McDonald to offer a four-class series designed to make self-defense broadly available. Participants get a great, full-body work out while also learning personal safety and self-defense skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Each class includes a warm up, cardio elements, intervals, and a cool down—all with great music. Participants will also learn awareness and avoidance strategies, verbal self-defense, and effective, easy-to-learn fighting techniques.

Come join us for this four-class series every Tuesday from 10-11AM, April 2nd – April 30th. Please note there will be no class on Tuesday April 16.

No previous experience or special skills are required. All fitness levels welcome. Come join us!

Instructor’s bio
Patricia McDonald, one of Seattle’s beloved fitness instructors, brings over 20 years of experience in Fitness. Her crowd-pleasing classes have been offered in gyms and clubs ranging from 24 Hour Fitness to the Seattle Athletic Club. She is or has been certified in Zumba, Kickboxing, and Body Pump. She holds a Masters in Education and is a teacher of teachers professionally. A few of Patricia’s other passions include dance, international travel, and hanging out with her awesome son.
